Post, who has been campaigning as the Liberal Party candidate in the Eighth Assembly District, will not appear on the ballot because of "an unfortunate oversight." Angelo Cordaro, the party's executive secretary in Erie County, said today that Mr. Post was endorsed by the Liberals but his name was omitted from the designating petitions sent to the Board of Elections. "It was an oversight by me," he acknowledged. Because there was no contest in the primary, no ballots were printed and the omission was not discovered. Party officials missed Mr.

EX BOXER FREED ON THREE COUNTS A former amateur boxer who got in trouble over his girl friend, now a Buffalo resident, was freed of three charges Thursday after a hearing before City Judge Madge Taggart.

The judge ruled there was insufficient evidence to hold Albert Naples, 20, of Erie, for grand jury action on a seconddegree burglary charge. Naples was accused of breakinto Miss Lila Neely's apartment, 894 Northampton Oct. 18, and trying to force her to return to Pennsylvania with him. Miss Neely and a woman friend, Miss Gwen Kerner, withdrew third-degree assault charges. Judge Taggart advised Naples to stay away from Miss Neely when she said in court she didn't want to see him.

$5000 ADDITIONAL FOR PHILHARMONIC Members of the Board of Education today agreed to provide an additional $5000 to the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra Society to help eliminate a $90,000 deficit. Official action on the $5000 payment will be taken Wednesday when the board holds its regular meeting. The Common Council Tuesday approved a $25,000 fund transfer for this purpose. Contributions of $25,000 from the county and $5000 from other schools also are being sought. The remaining $30,000 will be raised by the society.

Harold C. Ostertag of Attica, died early today (Nov. 4, 1960) at 12 June Kenmore. She had been living there with another daughter, Mrs. Robert Auld.

Mrs. Bryson, who received birthday greetings from President and Mrs. Eisenhower on her 100th birthday, would have been 103 Nov. 15. Born in Varysburg, Mrs.

Bryson spent most of her life in Wyoming County. Recently she had lived alternately with her daughter in Kenmore and with Mrs. Ostertag in Attica. Mrs. Bryson was the last to bear the Bryson name, Her son, Charles G.

Bryson of Buffalo, died in June 1956. She was the daughter of ford Godfrey and Phoebe Ward Godfrey. Mrs. Bryson's conversation was still spiced with wit in her later years. She lived alone in her home on the crest of Buffalo Hill near Varysburg until she was 80.

MEDIATOR RESUMES EFFORT TO SETTLE WALKOUT AT WGR State Mediator Martin A. Wersing resumed efforts today to settle the three-day-old strike of 116 employes of the WGR radin, and Wersing television met with stations. management and union representatives in the board's State Bldg. offices from 3 PM Thursday until shortly after midnight. There was no comment on the status of talks.

Strikers are represented by the AFL-CIO National Association of Broadcast Employes Technicians. They their jobs Wednesday after failing to reach agreement on a new contract. The stations have continued broadcasting and telecasting with administrative personnel manning equipment. State AFL-CIO said it had canceled a half-hour political telecast and 15-minute radio broadcast by President AFL George Meany, both originally scheduled for Thursday night on the WGR stations.
